I wanted to thank the staff at Davidson’s for the wonderful holiday for our group !!!
Something for everyone – families with small children, couples, young singles and older folk. To say it was a memorable experience is understating what we shared and enjoyed together – the three nights and four days were just not enough !!!
Davidson’s really is one of the most authentic products available on the Australian Domestic market today. That includes the handpicked indigenous and local guides along with management that intimately interact with all guests to deliver a personalized experience for everyone and their passions.
Nowhere else in NT is the Rock Art so bountiful AND accessible – it is almost everywhere you look on the double daily excursions included in the program Not to mention the incredible abundance of Australian fauna and flora – absolutely breath taking and exciting to see and enjoy.
I cannot single any one staff member out as being outstanding because EVERYONE we engaged with was knowledgeable, helpful and professional and wanted our stay to be special. They were a lot of fun and HAPPY – this showed through in what and how they delivered their services. Simply the best !!!!
The food was absolutely stunning – please compliment both chefs who did an amazing job and presented wonderful, fresh, contemporary cuisine, to showcase local produce. Even the wine list was more extensive than we thought it would be, and reasonably priced.
On arrival the bungalows where absolutely gorgeous – very clean and well appointed – we couldn’t believe how lovely it was to be open to the elements without the bugs getting to us

The excursions were beyond belief and we felt very honoured to experience such fabulous Rock Art in such pristine conditions everytime we went out and explored.
We will never forget the Great Serpentine – going up close to it and being dwarfed in its presence – it was quiet spiritual.
The water based excursions were fabulous and the birdlife OMG stunning and so plentiful. !!! And the Crocodiles, and crocodiles….everywhere, looking at us!!!!! And of course more Rock Art !!!
The walks were so interesting – learning about the local fauna and flora, the history and most importantly the culture in Arnhemland.
It was great to hear there was a range of walks offered based on participants abilities – pity we didn’t have more time to try the more strenuous walks that I know some of the group would have liked to have done.
The Barramundi fishing on both afternoons was a great success and is still talked about ??
The program was well balanced and timed with a different activity in the morning and afternoon, and for those who wanted time out, it was OK to lounge around the pool or the cool of your bungalow space.
Davidson’s should be very proud of their product and what they are sharing with all Australians – young and old.
